Some of Brownsville’s most worn streets appear headed for improvement. City Hall has asked for bids from contractors for asphalting work. The plan includes repaving Anderson from East Main Street to the intersection of Dupree; Hatchie Street from the Bypass to New Street; and areas in Summer Oaks. The bids are due by July 26.
