Former Brownsville businessman Lynn Mathis has died. Mathis and his business partner Joe Gibbs Jr. owned the Economy Store. Their fathers, Bert Mathis and Joe Gibbs Sr founded the store that operated for decades on the town square. Funeral services are this morning, graveside at 10am at Brownsville Memorial Gardens.
