Brownsville Mayor Bill Rawls signed a proclamation yesterday memorializing Brownsville’s 200th birthday. According to historians, yesterday was officially the town’s Bicentennial Day. The program also included the presentation of a proclamation from the office of Representative Johnny Shaw.
