The end of governments’ year is drawing closer. Both city and county government budget makers are working to beat the deadline of June 31. The Brownsville Board of Mayor and Aldermen posted notice Tuesday that they’ll have a special called meeting June 1 to discuss the city’s budgeting for 2021-2022.
