A house fire has taken the life of a West Cooper Street man. Firemen were called at 11:40 last night and found fire and smoke billowing from the back of a home at 311 West Cooper. Fire Chief Lynn Sanders said a man who lived there alone and was apparently bed ridden was found dead. ...
