A man, reported to be 39, is dead after a house fire in Brownsville. Firefighters and other rescuers were called to Madison Street about mid-afternoon yesterday. A witness alerted dispatch that smoke was coming from a house. Officials say Derrick Starks apparently died because of the fire or perhaps a medical issue before the fire. ...
