A six-foot bronze statue of Tina Turner will memorialize the Queen of Rock in Brownsville. Recently Brownsville’s Mayor and Aldermen endorsed the plan to erect the statue in historic Jefferson Street’s Heritage Park located across from the high school Tina attended.
