BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.–Seventeen firefighters battled a late-night blaze on Fulton Road Sunday. Fire Chief David Smith said firemen put 25,500 gallons of water on Mike Gierman’s house located at 4001 Fulton Road but were unable to save it. The fire started, Smith says, in a carport. No one was hurt. The fire was reported about 11pm.
