The Haywood County unemployment rate was 3.6% in June, according to data released by the Tennessee Department of Workforce Development. According to the report there are 9,691 people in the county’s workforce and 346 of those are jobless. In May the jobless rate was 3.1%. One year ago—June 2025—the unemployment rate was higher at 4.3%.
